When I first started to conceptualize the idea of Collectabillia in my dorm room, I had a very simple vision – to bring fans closer to their icons, icons from sports, history and entertainment, taking their adulation for their favourite icons beyond just the posters on the wall.
Since December 2011, when we started, we have been constantly focussed on improving our services and extending our product range beyond memorabilia from the world of History, Politics, Hollywood and Bollywood. We have been listening carefully to the voices of fans like you, across borders and have kept adding more to our collection, so that we can offer you nothing but the best of memorabilia and merchandise.
Our success mantra?! Simple- understanding and meeting the needs of our consumers while maintaining our levels excellence and continuously innovating.
In the last three years, we have worked our way to bring to you rare and favoured memorabilia, as an independent organization as well as through partnerships such as those with the world’s largest autograph dealers – Frasers Autographs. All for the elusive title of becoming a one-stop destination for every collector.
We began our auction platforms, tying up with as many as six IPL teams and the rest, as they say, is history. We never looked back as we moved promptly to two charity auctions with the GoSports Foundation and the YouWeCan Foundation, using our strenghts to connect with communities of sports.
In celebration of the illustrious career of Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, we launched three exclusive series of memorabilia, aptly titled- the 'Century of Centuries Collection' post his hundred hundredth, the '248 Not out Test Memorabilia' and mass merchandise that included notebooks, mini-bats, caps, belts, wallets, t-shirts and sweatshirts. Needless to say this was a big hit with cricket fans across the world!
Constantly looking at new avenues to make Collectabillia as fan-friendly as possible, we have also introduced merchandise from the Bollywood blockbuster Dhoom 3, and as a way forward, we are working towards building an exhaustive list of celebrity merchandise by expanding the Virat Kohli range and enhancing our collection by merchandising Indian ethnic wear brand Spandana designed by the talented actress Ramya.
Pursuing our attempt to build celebrity brand connects beyond endorsements, Collectabillia launched exclusive lines of celebrity merchandise of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar and dashing southpaw Virat Kohli. Now you can be closer to your favourite icons than ever before.
In an innovative attempt to bring fans closer to their icons, we recently partnered with ‘The Lounge’ by Café Coffee Day to launch the first-of-its-kind Collectabillia Celebrity Wall. Inaugurated by Sachin Tendulkar at ‘The Lounge’ by Café Cofefe Day at Juhu, this wall was the first of 36 displays that we shall be setting up across 6 cities in the country by the end of March 2014. Each of these displays will house unique sports memorabilia such as the Sachin Tendulkar 200th Test Commemorative Autographed Bat, along with Boxing Gloves signed by the legendary Muhammad Ali and other autographed merchandise, allowing fans even easier access to ‘Own the Moment.’ Quite something, isn’t it?
With more than 1,50,000 happy customers on our website and other major e-commerce websites including Flipkart, Myntra, Jabong, Snapdeal, Amazon & Ebay; selling more than 50,000 pieces of memorabilia, is a matter of pride and is a true testimony to the hard work that the team has put in.
